There are 16 Ramblers’ groups across Surrey and South West London; all welcome new walkers. You don’t have to join the Ramblers when participating in the first two or three walks – just turn up at the walk start. Choose a group from the tablebelow and visit their website for more information.

Croydon With over 900 members, Croydon is one of the largest groups and organises walks five days a week, including Saturdays and Sundays. |
Godalming and Haslemere We organise walks on Wednesday, Thursday, Sunday, some Saturdays, and Friday summer evenings. Walks vary from 5 to 15 miles. All-day walks usually have a pub stop. |
Guildford Come and try the great walking around Guildford, the Surrey Hills and the many riversides. We're out every weekend and run a shorter walk during the week. |
Epsom and Ewell We are a friendly sociable group who ramble 4 times a week, ranging from starter walks of 2.5 miles to energetic 12 mile hikes. We also have a varied social programme throughout the year, including holidays, dinners and day trips. |
Staines We are a very active and friendly ramblers group. We have over 330 members, lead over 150 walks per year and are fortunate in having over 40 Walk Leaders. |
Woking We are an active, small and friendly walking group with members from diverse backgrounds. We enjoy invigorating walks through stunning countryside in western Surrey and sometimes, E Berkshire, NE Hampshire or W Sussex.

Mole Valley Every week we have a variety of walks, catering for all ages and abilities - from short, easy pace 3-4 mile walks, to 6-7 mile half day walks and all day hikes. |
Under 40? Surrey Young Walkers is for people in their 20s and 30s. We're out walking every weekend, covering anything from a gentle 3 mile ramble to a strenuous 20 mile hike. |
SABRE Our mission is to encourage people of any age to get out there and walk all over Surrey and beyond at the weekend and in the week. We are internet based and our members are mainly from Surrey. |
Kingston The Group arranges walks for a range of abilities, mainly in the beautiful Surrey and Hampshire countryside on Saturdays, Sundays and mid week. |
Sutton and Wandle Valley We cover Sutton, Banstead and part of Merton Borough. We organise a varied programme of walks catering for all abilities - usually three per week - plus two coach trips each year. |
Richmond Our enthusiastic group arranges a varied walks programme covering weekdays and weekends, typically from 5 to 12 miles. All are organised around public transport. |
East Surrey Walkers East Surrey Walkers has just the walk for you. Whether you prefer a steady 4 miles or a full day walk, join us as we walk in the surrounding countryside of Surrey, Kent and Sussex. |
Reigate Ramblers The friendly group. We aim to enjoy and take time to appreciate the beautiful Surrey and Sussex countryside. We offer a warm welcome and good company on our weekend and mid-week walks and at our social events. |
Farnham and District We offer regular walks from 3 to 11 miles or more. There are walks for new members, socials, holidays, and an active footpath maintenance team. |
Surrey Heath We are a vibrant and friendly group who welcome new, old and visiting walkers alike. Our led walks vary from 90 minutes to 4 hours in duration and are all within 40 minutes drive of our home area. In addition to our walks we organise several holidays each year.
