Meet at Staines leisure Centre at 9.30am for a car transfer to the furthest car park (free) along Chertsey Meads on the left (NOT the first car park where the children's play area is as it may be busy during school holidays) a 10am start for a delightful stroll across the wild flower meadows and along the tranquil shady waterways. I have revamped this scenic route to now make it a shorter more interesting figure of eight walk encompassing the River Wey and Wey Navigation but now going through some intriguing back ways of Weybridge. Coffee will be at a delightful coffee shop in Weybridge (with public benches nearby for those bringing their own). We continue along footpaths to the White Hart Inn on the Wey for lunch or alongside for a picnic at the lock. Please note that we will not be going to West Byfleet for lunch and the walk is now 2 miles shorter than shown in the printed program.7.5mile / 12.1kmLeisurely
